Narrative
A powerful CEO puts her career and family on the line when she begins a tumultuous affair with her much younger intern.
Watched at the Venice Film Festival in the Sala Grande with the cast
The film is exciting and daring with a good soundtrack and great performances by Nicole Kidman, Antonio Banderas (he has some really good moments) and Harris Dickinson.
I think the script starts off quietly ordinary, but then it gets more and more interesting with the final look at sexuality and women which is truly extraordinary
Halina Reijin is also a skilled director who also put an incredible club scene in this film (one of the best club scenes I have ever seen in my life, it was like she wanted the entire audience in Venice to discover their inner hidden animal).
Also Kidman clearly commands the entire film with a performance that I am sure will always be remembered
The film will probably be released during Christmas and all I can say is that she is absolutely right 🙂
