Alas, the director wanted to give us a story and took an idea from the story "Mabel" by W. The story is only 5 pages, so the "story" it’s told to us in a way that feels like a joke told by someone with a speech impediment.

It’s bloody boring and some people ran away from the movie after the first half hour and I wish I had followed suit. Between the narrative being set in 1917 and being shot in black and white, we get a lot of contemporary stuff in color.
Yes, the cinematography is brilliant and so is the editing, so I give it a four instead of a two
